Thank Him for emulation then. A good PC, a good controller, a good emulator hub (like Retroarch), or good standalone emulators altogether, maybe even a good software for bezels (like Rocket Launcher) and a good frontend (like Launchbox) on top of it, and you're all set to bridge the numerous shortcomings of those decidedly cheap-@$$ consoles when it comes to retrogaming.
"All the DLC - Train Simulator 2020, $10,145"
No wonder we're witnessing an increasing number of ports from PC to consoles, you can't nickel and dime PC owners with all their mods over there, lol
"Legatus Pack - Star Citizen $27,000"
Ouch!
Planet Calypso - Entropia Universe, $6,000,000
WTF...?!
Glad to hear that. I thought maybe SIE wasn't in the best of moods when it came to Media Molecule, after the reportedly lacklustre sales of Dreams, what with the game taking a whopping entire generation to be developed.
MM really need to come up with DLC to spruce things up and make up for what jarringly short story mode there is, though. Can't believe they thought it was all right to ship it with only a few levels that take 2-3 hours to beat, 12 years after LittleBigPlanet 1...
How so?
Assasssin's Creed Odyssey, much like Origins before it, features a Discovery mode that does teach you a lot about Ancient Greece, complete with several photographs and illustrations, and goes well beyond the depiction that is done in the main storyline mode. And it was free, too, if you own a copy, even 2nd hand one, of ACO.
Maybe, but I'd be curious to hear how much exactly it costs them to keep the PS3 Store servers running. And what I don't understand is, as we all know we'll still supposedly have access to everything we bought (does it include the demos, themes and avatars btw?) after the store closes, so wouldn't that force Sony to still keep the servers running anyway? What will they gain then? Or rather save?
They can just bring it much later on, like in 2022 or something. Right now it's the single player experience that needs a heck of a lot working on, with patches, hotfixes, updates, and DLC (free and paid).
I read somewhere CD Projekt Red had given up on their idea to include a multiplayer mode later on in Cyberpunk 2077, is it TRUE?
I still can't wrap my head around how he convinced Sony to let him release on PC a game that uses a proprietary engine developped by Guerilla Games, which is a Sony first-party studio. And that he apparently got for free, at that!
In the email I received they say it's to better focus on the PS4 & PS5 stores, "which will allow us to improve the end-user experience even further"...
LOL, gotta love the "even further", when the PS Store is trash on the PS5. Why did they have to change it again when it was pretty much all right on the PS4, go figure. It seems to be the Sony creed with the Playstation business, always altering the things that work, and never (or seldom) doing an...
What about digital-only games, like black knight sword, for ex.? And all the DLC for those games you still haven't bought?
That's long overdue.
WTF is this? A PS1 demo disc???
Dragon's Crown Pro is already fetching quite high prices, even on the PS4, when the game was re-released not too long ago, so gotta buy it before it really becomes a collector's item.
On the PS3, if that rumor about Sony shutting down the PS store is true (which I absolutely believe it is), I suspect there are many games which are going to see their price skyrocket.
Nice, but this should've been a patch for Doom 3 BFG Edition, much like it is offered for free for other games like GT Sport, Wipeout Omega Collection, or RE7.
"lost years of gaming" is a perhaps a depressive way to look at it, although it is definitely a valid way to put it. That time would've been equally lost had it been spent watching some TV shows or doing other time-consuming things which don't necessarily profit in any more tangible way than playing videogames do. But then again, I suspect he actually meant it in an ironic kind a way, after reading his piece.
As one of the readers put it in the comments se...
The Warriors is one of those games on the PS2 that I am yet to buy. Then on the PS3 I have more that I am yet to buy, and on the PS4 there's even a heck of a lot more. I'll never have enough money, lol
It seems to me I've already encountered that error, CE 34878-0, and several times at that (but not anywhere near as many times as CE 36329-3) but I never lost my digital games...Or was it CE 34878-something else than 0?
" the closure of the PS Store will mean that there are numerous games you won’t be able to buy ever again, as they never received a physical release"
I know but, what exactly are those games? Been scouring the internet, esp. youtube for a list of all the best PS3-exclusive, download-only PSN games, that I should check out before the store closes, but no dice...
